The Cross and Miraculous Medal earrings — also known as the Medal of the Immaculate Conception — are inspired by the visions of the Virgin Mary to Saint Catherine Labouré, a nun of the Daughters of Charity of Saint Vincent de Paul, which took place in 1830 in Rue du Bac, Paris.

The Virgin intercedes with God and protects those who wear the medal from spiritual and physical dangers. It is a symbol of Marian devotion and a constant reminder of divine grace and Mary’s maternal love.
